Here you go! I decided to use Case Kiyonaga's shugenja deck for grinder day 2 after my commander deck went 5-3 on Thursday, losing to 2 Crabs and Beniac in a mirror match. I modifed 5 or 6 cards from Case's build, and then Case modifed a few from his build. We ended up about 7-8 cards different total, with the biggest difference being that I ran Retribution and he ran Duty. For the environment, with Seppun Heavy Infantry in the deck, Retribution ended up being a much stronger card against the field. I won 9 games with double Retribution off a single unit over the course of two days.
We'll call this one the "GenCon Sho-Case Deck:" ....I crack myself up sometimes.
Dragon's Guard City
Dynasty (40):
Imperial Census
War of Dark Fire
Lightwater Bay x1
Farmlands x1
Yoritomo Naizen
Yoritomo Iwata xp.
Moshi Nakata
Moshi Takeko
Moshi Enju x3
Moshi Awako x2
Yoritomo Sunagawa x3
Yoritomo Sanjo x3 (MVP)
Yoritomo Kurei x2
Tsuruchi Saya x2
Border Village x3
Permanent Encampment x3
Kobune Port x3
Traveling Peddler x2
Barley Farm x2
Imperial Artificer x2
Diamond Mine x1
Chugo Seido x1
Fate (40):
Seppun Heavy Infantry x3 (MVP)
Taoist Archer x3
Imperial Elite Guard x3
Ronin Brotherhood x2
Heavenly Kama
Essence of Destruction
Consumed by Five Fires x3
Ambush x3
Unpredictable Strategy x3
Justly Earned Victory x3
Height of Courage x3
Retribution x3
Obfuscation x3
Rout x3
Outer Walls x2
Ring of Water
After GenCon the only change I might think of making for the current environment is possibly changing one of the Imperial Elite Guards into a 3rd Ronin Brotherhood to deal with Spider more effectively. As soon as path becomes legal this deck becomes trash because of all the effective attachment hate.
Winds favor the Mantis!
